I saw Dr. Goldfarb twice for primary care visits. The entire conversation was about my weight, which I didn't indicate was a problem for me. She asked pointedly twice about my weight and I told her I was working with a HAES therapist. She had no idea what Intuitive Eating or HAES was. She recommended I lose weight. She didn't even ask me whether I exercise or how often. She took one look at my bigger body and assumed that I was unhealthy. She was pushy and condescending. I asked the staff not to share my weight with me, and yet my weight was in big bold letters on the top of my paperwork - the biggest font, for whatever reason. The second visit was more of the same, I'm never going back.
