Stepney City Farm is a little oasis inside the city of London. It's a working farm, not just a petting zoo. There are goats, sheep, donkeys, pigs, fowl, guinea pigs, and rabbits alongside beautiful vegetable gardens. There are also workshops for artists and makers as well as a farm cafe and shop. The farm is flat and largely accessible (there are some narrow pathways in the gardens and it may be tough for some chairs on the woodchip paths) with ramps to the cafe and to the accessible toilet. Unlike many city farms, you're actually allowed to feed and interact with some of the animals (the donkeys are my favourite!) and you can buy little cups of feed from the farm shop to do so safely. The cafe has plenty of armless chairs and sturdy benches outside. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon reconnecting with the greener side of life!
