The TCM doctor here is very nice and helped me with many health issues for the past 10 years. She specializes in Lyme disease (which I do not have) and I have heard from many people that she has really helped them with their issues. It seems like people of all types are welcome here, however, many of the treatment recommendations involve elimination diets, which after adopting a health at every size regimen in my life, I have come to realize does more harm to me than is helpful (it turns out that the issues I was having were due to food restriction causing inflammation and were not due to certain foods causing inflammation). The doctor also has a podcast (which can be accessed on itunes), and in that podcast they often talk about weight loss and how it helps cure certain things (which I know now is not true). For these reasons, I have decided not to go back to this doctor (i'm trying to avoid triggers in my life), however, I think she can still be helpful for others. She never made any hurtful comments to me of any sort and seems to be a very compassionate person, as long as you follow her recommendations. The chairs in the waiting room of this office are not very large and they all have arms. The office is however on the first floor and is easily accessible for people with disabilities and has wide hallways.
